BREAKING NEWS: Bus Overturns on Highway 57 — At Least One Dead, Several Injured

Early Wednesday morning, a tragic accident occurred on Highway 57, in the Hermanas-Sabinas section, near kilometer 68. A bus identified as number 9132, traveling from Ciudad Acuña to Gómez Palacio, Durango, overturned, leaving at least one person dead and multiple others injured.

🚨 The bus reportedly collided with a light pole and a concrete base, causing the vehicle to roll over and end up with its wheels upside down. The incident happened around 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 3, near Raymundo Park on the Gómez Palacio–Cuencamé Highway, in Lerdo, Durango.

Injuries Reported

Among the injured is a minor named Jairo, who was taken in critical condition to Clinic 7 of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) in Monclova.

At least five other passengers are also reported injured, though their conditions are still being confirmed.

Authorities Investigate

Officials are currently investigating the cause of the accident, while families of the victims await further updates. Emergency teams are working at the scene to provide assistance and secure the area.
